New babies!!

See the new baby chick hatched today! That is not its "real" mother but just one of the hens that sat on the batch of eggs. Four total hatched today (so far)!!

Here are some photos from this past Memorial Day when we joined all the Scouts in the region to place a US flag on every grave at the cemetery at Fort Sam. Over 100,000. Beautiful and sobering. .

Well, it's not Black Friday here. More like Bum Friday as it is 10:00 and we are all still in our pj's! We will have to get dressed soon though, as we are headed over to the Pipe Creek Christmas Tree Farm in a little while to get a Christmas tree. Will post pictures later today... .
