Easter egg hunt
Here is a photo from our Easter egg hunt, hot dog cookout and water balloon fight on the Saturday before Easter.
I mowed a line around about an acre and a half of the front field that was full of wild flowers and grasses. We had about 250 cascarones and about 500 plastic eggs. I think the big kids (High Schoolers!) were more into it than the little kids. Then we had hotdogs and chips and cake and cookies. Then the kids had a huge water balloon fight!! Kathryn, Erin and Travis (with some tying help from me) worked almost 2 hours filling water balloons - close to 1,000!! The fight was the big kids vs. the little kids. The little kids won big time!! Lots of fun!! .
