This is Kathryn's quilted wall hanging made for the 4H Textile competition. It is made with Travis', Erin's and her handprints. She won a blue ribbon at the county show and a red ribbon at the district show.

In Honor of Veteran's Day...
Yesterday evening, our Scouts went to Morningside (a retirement home) for a flag ceremony and patriotic service in honor of Veteran's Day. Here are some photos from this past Memorial Day when we joined all the Scouts in the region to place a US flag on every grave at the cemetery at Fort Sam. Over 100,000. Beautiful and sobering. .
