Check out our watermelon! My neighbor gave me some plants she started but could not remember what they were. One turned out to be a canteloupe and we have gotten three small but yummy fruits from it. The other turned out to be a watermelon. Isn't it beautiful!! We are going to cut into it later today. .

4" of rain last night and water is back in the pond!!!! Yeah!!! .

Here is Chase's new lab puppy playing with Daisy who is twice as heavy. Ruger is a very sweet puppy but he looks like a devil dog in these pictures!! .

Here is quilt top #2 for Lutheran World Relief. It is kind of hard to tell from the photo but it is made up of triangle of solid pink and pink and white gingham. There are 680 pieces in this quilt top!! No, we did not cut them. They were pre-cut in an old kit I found in a box that I had bought on close out at Hobby Lobby many, many years ago. Still, it was a lot of work! Everyone except Steve and plus Emily worked on this one. Even Travis ironed seams!! Top #3 is a pretty four square. Erin put together the four square blocks and then I assembled the blocks for her. 25% of the way there for our goal this year!! .
